Description

A design I did for my girlfriend. Done in illustrator in about 3 hours. I wanted to keep the design clean as to bring the message across.

In illustrator??? very good. Maybe you could have worked a little better on colors... if is for your gf youcan try to find colors that fit better the love...

Yup illustrator, and I didn't want to use pink or red as that would seem to cliche especially with a topic like this.

nice compo. always loved minimalism. i'm not too crazy about the yellow cross and the gray square though. the typography definitely works. anyway, keep 'em coming.

the illustration for the diamond looks good. but the yellow looking cross "kills" the overall design in my opinion. If you plan to have a minimalistic feel to your design, i suggest getting rid of the grey box and yellow looking cross.

i think white background is okay, or perhaps a radial gradient of some sort.
as for the text, you can try experimenting using cursive writing fonts which adds a more romantic/elegant feel to your overall design (afterall, this is a romantic piece). a little drop shadow of the same color as the diamond will make the diamond pop up rather than looking static.

Overall it's still the thought that counts. "For 'YOUR' true love ever lasts." =)
